APEX Benefits Administration is a 401(k), 403(b), and defined benefit plan administrator serving Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Yakima, Walla Walla, Benton county and Franklin county. We are currently Southeastern Washington's sole fee only, third party administration firm that does not handle investments or insurance. We have numerous clients in the Pacific Northwest region as well as in the greater Tri-cities area. We work with CPAs, and investment brokers, to design retirement plans that will provide businesses with maximum tax savings and/or employee benefits.
After personally meeting with and listening to our clients, APEX Benefits Administration generates plan documents, completes regulatory filings & handles annual administration. Our administrators are assigned specific clients who they get to know individually and continue to work with year to year.
When using a 401(k) plan, the investment company, and a local advisor, provide employee meetings, daily valuation platforms, accounting for each employee by money source, employee investment forms and assistance to trustees when moving money between investment vehicles. This helps limit trustee liability.
At year end, APEX Benefits Administration requests payroll and investment information from the employer - or in many cases we are able to automatically download investment statements - to process year end testing, ERISA statements and 5500s.
